GPANTRIP: Getting Used to Japanese Life!

We have been here for just over a week and i:m finally settling in and getting used to all the wierd and wonder things about this place, we have reached our final destination in Japan before we head back to Tokyo, this of couse being Osaka. we have been told many stories about Osaka but because i wasn:t listening i didn:t really catch any of them but i:m definitatly finding Osaka to be the middle ground of Japan, its new like Tokyo, but the little aspects about the city make it more traditional to the Japanese culture. The train system here is much better than Kyoto and resembles Tokyo in its ease of use and fast transit to destinations, we have been having much fun here, we arrived late as on our way back from Yoshino stopped off and Nara to see a temple which features a giant budda made of bronse and gold, it was really good but we were dragging our bags around which was annoying and the hundreds of school children looking on and chasing the deer started to get to us. after this quick sight seeing activity we took the express train to Osaka and after checking in made our way to some really cool arcades, it became a late night because of our late check in so we have decided to stay and extra night in Osaka to get the full day/night experaince here, we had a spare night we had not booked accomodation so it worked out great.

Today we ventured into the DEN DEN TOWN the electical hub of Osaka and we were all taken over by the urge to go shopping, the street goes for at least 500 meters with both sides having many many stores of eletronics/cdsdvds etc. each store had at least 34 levels and i don:t think we really got time to see them all.

As i was saying at the start of my post before i went off on some huge tangent i:m getting used to the life here, the hords of bikes going up and down the foot paths, the vending machines which can offer you what ever you desire, the aspect that there is next to none bins located anywhere but the city is almost completly clean, and the transport system where needed is amost always on time and never requires more than 20 minutes at a station, apart from the language barrier i:m really enjoying the way things work around here.

till next time, which will prob be tomorrow i will try to upload some photos, and let you in on the latest happenings,
